Unlock the Power of Web3
Welcome to Vottun. You are about to open a world of possibilities by implementing our blockchain development tools. These tools are very easy to use, as they seamlessly integrate with traditional systems, and work just like regular Web 2 APIs.
If you are familiar with API usage, you should have no problems, but if not, we highly recommend following our step-by-step tutorial, or connecting to our weekly free onboarding sessions. They will get you up and running in no time.
Step-by-step tutorial
Step 1
Head to our development documentation on Postman, https://developers.vottun.tech/

Step 2
Once you open the docs, head to the top right corner of your screen. You’ll find a “Run on Postman” button. Click on it.
A pop-up window will open with two running options. Click on the “Postman for Web” option.

Step 3
Next, you’ll need to import the collection into Postman. To do so, simply select “My workspace” and then, click the “import” button in the bottom left corner.
Once the workspace is imported, you will be met with an overview of the APIs.

Step 4
In this page, head to the “Variables” tab in the top horizontal menu.
Here we’ll set the variables to Authorize our calls by copy & pasting the API credentials you received in your mail.
In the “variables” tab, paste your personal JWT token in the “current value” column, and do the same with the App ID, please make sure you paste them in their corresponding rows.

Step 5
Once you paste your credentials, go ahead and set the environment to live. To do so, go to the top right corner and select the “live” option from the dropdown

Step 6
Congratulations, you are now ready to make your first call.
Head to the Vottun API dropdown on the left-hand side. Select any endpoint to make your first call to. We’ll use “APINFT – Get Transaction Info” from “Public NFT API V3 > ERC1155 ”

Step 7
Click the “Send” button in the top right corner and you’ll receive your first API response.
You are now ready to build incredible blockchain tools with ease. Happy Building.

Reload your wallet with testnet tokens
Keep in mind that you need to load your wallet with tokens to pay transaction gas fees on the blockchain. To do so, access the following links to claim testnet tokens using the Wallet Address you received with your API credentials.
